The Teamwork Center provides six Teamwork Areas where groups of up to six students can work on projects, assignments, or presentations for classes. Each Teamwork Area features a large table, up to six chairs, an ITS computer, and either a whiteboard or chalkboard.

TO RESERVE A TEAMWORK AREA

To reserve a Teamwork Area, please register HERE. Once registered, sign in and change the schedule to "2008 Summer Teamwork Center" from the pull down menu. Then simply click on the Teamwork Area that you would like to reserve and fill in the form. Reservations can not be made less than 24 hours before the reservation. A confirmation email will be sent accordingly. Walk-ins are welcome.

* TeamSpot is a multi-user technology space for students and includes four ITS computers that interface with a host computer featuring a 37 inch monitor that allows users to view and edit projects simultaneously. This new technology is user friendly and provides an ideal location to accommodate your collaborative needs. To view a video illustrating the benefits of TeamSpot, click here.

* Note - we do not provide headphones or external microphones.

TUTORING ASSISTANCE

Groups may request the assistance of peer tutors. Technology tutors can help groups determine what technology would best enhance a project and then teach the group how to use it. Writing tutors can assist groups in strengthening written or oral reports. If you would like a tutor's assistance, please indicate this on the online reservation form.

GUIDELINES FOR USING THE TEAMWORK CENTER

- Reservations may be made in advance, however walk-ins are welcome.

- Teamwork areas can be reserved for a maximum of 3 hours. You may request additional time only if there are openings at the end of your session.

- If your group is 15 minutes late, your reservation will be forfeited.

- The University Learning Centers are not responsible for any personal items lost, stolen, or damaged while in The Teamwork Center.

- Users will be held responsible for the condition of the room and equipment. If you notice any damage, report it immediately to the receptionist in 220 Boucke.
