NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY!
The Math Center is a free drop-in tutoring center that provides help for most undergraduate math courses (Math 2 through Math 251).
How can the Math Center help me?
If you're worried about succeeding in college-level math classes or want to keep your “A”, you're not alone. Our math tutors can help you in the following ways
- answer questions
- review material for quizzes and tests
- provide test preparation and test taking tips
- establish short and long term study goals
- review exams from the previous semesters
Our math tutors have taken many of the math courses, and they can help you with your homework assignments and with using graphics calculators. We also have copies of old exams and review sheets for future exams on reserve for your use.
*Must have a valid student I.D. to check out materials on reserve.
How do I use the services in the Math Center?
The Math Center provides tutoring on a drop-in basis which means all you need to do is show up when the ULC is open and a tutor will be waiting to assist you individually or in a small group.
The Math Center does not provide tutoring for classes beyond Math 251. For help with these courses, try visiting the Math Department website's "Private Tutor Lists" (see link under "Tools" on our home page).
