Multicultural Academic Excellence Program (MAEP)
Mission Statement:
- To provide a supportive atmosphere for students of different ethnic, racial, and religious backgrounds wherein their academic, social, and cultural needs are assessed and tutorial and counseling services are offered.
- To ease the transition to the new campus with the attention of aiding the retention-to-graduate of the participating students
- Serve to create student-faculty, student-staff, and student-student contacts, so that participants are able to make the most out of the Penn State Harrisburg resources and will ultimately feel a greater sense of connection to the University.
