Academic Advising Programs

As a Penn State student, you are expected to take responsibility for your educational decisions, including choice of major, choice of courses, and gaining knowledge of Penn State policies and procedures. The Division of Undergraduate Studies is committed to assisting you in learning more about academic requirements and resources you will need to be successful at Penn State. Your first step is to attend an academic advising program, where you will meet faculty and staff who can assist you in making a successful transition.

If you are a new First-Year student, you will be invited to attend the First-Year Testing Counseling and Advising Program.

If you are a Transfer, Reenrolling, or Change of Campus student, you will be referred to the Academic Advising and Registration Program.
