Penn State Harrisburg named Ross Patrick as its new women´s basketball head coach in July of 2008, ushering in a new era of Lady Lion basketball.

Coach Patrick comes to Penn State Harrisburg from neighboring Elizabethtown College where he spent the previous eight seasons as an assistant coach. Patrick graduated in 1999 from Lebanon Valley College with a degree in Business Administration-Marketing, and completed his master´s degree in Sports Management during the summer of 2008 from Millersville University.

"It is a wonderful feeling to be the head coach at Penn State Harrisburg" explains Patrick. "This is the opportunity I have been waiting for. Penn State Harrisburg represents the qualities necessary in building a top level women´s basketball program; strong academics, quality facilities, and the support of the administration and community."

These are words that can be used to describe the persona of the Lady Lions head coach. "I believe that it is the coach´s responsibility to exemplify the qualities demanded of my players. I will work tirelessly to make sure that our players are placed in positions to succeed. I will bring enthusiasm and excitement to all aspects of the basketball program. I am determined to guide the Lady Lions of Penn State Harrisburg to success on and off the basketball court."
