Lady Lions Drop Rosemont, 3-0

Women's Volleyball

MIDDLETOWN, PA - The Penn State Harrisburg volleyball team used 10 kills from freshman Amanda Duda (Centerville, VA/Westfield) to take down Rosemont College in three games Tuesday evening at the Capital Union Building.

The Lady Lions were able to produce a season high 16 service aces as they dominated the Ravens 25-10, 25-12, 25-22.

Senior Amanda Wade (Mechanicsburg, PA/Cedar Cliff) contributed 22 set assists and 15 digs for the Lady Lions, while senior Elise Williams (Mountain Top, PA/Crestwood) and freshman Michelle Pellechia (Catasauqua, PA/Catasauqua) collected five kills each for Harrisburg. Freshman Trisha Stauffer (Elizabethtown, PA/Elizabethtown) tallied 10 digs to assure the blue and white victory.

The Lady Lions moved to 8-5 overall while remaining perfect at home, 5-0. Penn State Harrisburg travels to Albright College Thursday night, September 24. Match time is at 7:00 P.M.
