Penn State Harrisburg Host NEAC Women´s Volleyball Championship
MIDDLETOWN, PA - The Penn State Harrisburg women´s volleyball team heads into their first North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) playoff match this Saturday as the second seed in the three day tournament hosted at the Capital Union Building.
The Lady Lions finished out the season 18-11 beating conference opponents, Keuka College, SUNY Cobleskill, College of Saint Elizabeth, Cazenovia College, Penn State Berks and Penn State Abington in the regular season.
The blue and white´s first match will come against the 7-15 Wildcats of Cazenovia College, Friday November 6 at 5:00 P.M. In their regular season match, the Lady Lions held off Cazenovia´s attack in three sets to beat the Wildcats.
The Lady Lions´ will continue play on Saturday, November 7 at Noon against the winner of the SUNY Cobleskill and Penn State Abington match, and at 4:00 P.M. against the defending championships, SUNY IT.
Penn State Harrisburg will host the semi-finals and championship matches Sunday, November 8th, beginning at 10:00 A.M.
