Vita

Dr. Blumberg joined Penn State Harrisburg in 1985 as the Director of the School of Business Administration . He served as the Director until 1991. He now serves as a Senior Research Scientist for the Center for Quality of Working Life, as a faculty member of the Center for Management of Technology and Organizational Change, and frequently lectures on Management of Technological Innovation, and Total Quality Management. He focuses his research on technology and other antecedents of work performance and organizational design. Dr. Blumberg has published in the Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Journal of Applied Behavioral Science, Journal of Manufacturing Systems, Journal of Occupational Behavior, Personnel, Penn State Dickinson Law Review, and SAM Advanced Management Journal. He has also contributed chapters to a number of books on technological innovation and management. Dr. Blumberg served as an Examiner for the Malcolm Baldridge National Quality Award in 1997, 1998, 1999, and 2000.
