Mission Statement
The mission of the School of Science, Engineering, and Technology is to continue to provide excellence in undergraduate, graduate and professional educational programs.
The School pursues and supports research, development, and scholarly activities for faculty and students through traditional and innovative means as well as through cooperative relations with regional industries and professional communities.

VISION STATEMENT
The vision of the School of Science, Engineering, and Technology (SSET) is to maintain and continuously improve upon its national leadership in Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in engineering technology education, create opportunities and access for individuals to attend and continue limited, but focused, high-quality B.S. and master’s level engineering programs of applied nature, and continue to offer high-quality B.S. and master’s level programs in computer and mathematical sciences.
The SSET considers its students as its clients as well as its product. As clients, the students will receive from the SSET an excellent service, which includes a cost-effective, high-quality education. The SSET also considers the industry that employs its graduates as clients. To serve these industry clients, SSET will deliver a high-quality product, its well-educated graduates, and a faculty that are resources to the industry in the performance of applied research and delivery of continuing education. The communities of South Central Pennsylvania are also the clients of SSET. The SSET is committed to serve this client, the community, by contributing to the economic development as well as the development of human resources of this region through its high-quality educational and applied research programs.
The faculty of SSET attach particular importance to the quality of their activities, services and products. Although SSET’s focus is our region, the high quality of our academic programs and the research and technical expertise of the faculty will expand our clientele to national and global arenas.
