Featured Article: Remembering Eton

Eton Churchill

Eton Frederick Churchill, playwright, and founder of Penn State Harrisburg’s undergraduate Communications program, passed away on September 10 doing what he loved, sailing his boat on beautiful Penobscot Bay, near his home in Camden, Maine. Eton had a flair for drama. Many of his colleagues have remarked that he left us in a way that seemed to mirror the drama of his plays.

He is survived by his wife, Lou Schellenberg (an artist and art professor at Elizabethtown College); and three children: Eton, Jr. (a professor in Tokyo), Christopher (a photographer in the Boston area) and Abbye (an editor most recently employed in NYC).
