Welcome to South Halls!
On behalf of everyone in the South Halls Residence Association (SHRA), we would like to welcome new and returning students to our glorious community. Those new residents will soon learn, South Halls is the best area on campus! The reason for this is our amazing student leaders and area involvement. SHRA helps to provide programs, activities and events, and well as assistance to residents. Care packages from home? Come to SHRA's office! Want to meet some of your neighbors and enjoy a night of Texas Hold'em, paint pumpkins, or even sing karaoke? Come visit SHRA! We strive to provide a fun atmostphere for students to live, learn, and socialize.SHRA also provides a forum for students to voice their opinions about various topics, including housing issues, food service requests or comments, and residence life activies and events. Those who wish to help make South Halls the amazing community that it is may attend SHRA meetings every Thursday night in Redifer's Heritage Room at 6pm. The room is located down the hall from South Side Buffet, with green arrows directing students to the room prior to Thursday's meetings. Chair positions can be found on the menu to the left, and more information is available by emailing SHRA@psu.edu.
