
While an official schedule has yet to be released, there is one even we can certainly tell you about. This December, Penn State will participate in the first Pittsburgh College Hockey Invitational to be held at the Consol Energy Center - home of the Penguins. The Nittany Lions will join host Robert Morris, Ohio State and Miami.

US College Hockey Online recently profiled Coach Guy Gadowsky and the state of men's hockey at Penn State in this offseason of transition.

Several Penn State Icers gathered post-season recognition which were announced at the recent coaches' meetings in Florida. Freshmen P.J. Musico and Tommy Olczyk were both named to the All-Rookie Team. Five Icers also made the Academic All-American list as well.

Terrence M. and Kim Pegula, who committed $88 million in 2010 to launch Penn State's entry into NCAA Division I hockey and construction on a state-of-the-art arena, have raised their total support for the initiative to $102 million.
