Former Icer to Lead Flyover at Penn State/Ohio State Game

Former Icer Charles "Joe" Bassett will be leading the group of four, F-16 fighter jets that will be performing the flyover prior to Saturday's Penn State/Ohio State matchup in Beaver Stadium. Captain Bassett played as a forward for the Icers from 1995 to 1999 and was an integral member of the Icers 1998 National Championship Team. While at Penn State, Joe was an ACHA Academic All-American for eight-straight semesters.

Joining Captain Bassett is another Penn State alumnus, Capt Tamerlane Kangas (Class of 2001). While we won't hold it against him, Joe will also be flying with Capt Cesar Orozco (USC), and Maj Eric Parker (Michigan).
