If you and your family would like to make an official recruiting visit, please fill out the recruiting form and a coach will be in touch with you to schedule a date. If you come during the week, you can attend stay with and shadow a current team member. You will follow them around to practice and their classes and see what life is like as a women's hockey player at Penn State. In addition, they will show you all of the different facilities this great campus has to offer. If you come on a home game weekend, you can see a game, meet the team, and possibly attend a meal with team members before or after the game. In addition, we can provide tours of the campus and the facilities. Listed below are different ways to get to Penn State to assist you with your travel arrangements.

- Air and Bus Transportation -
The University Park (State College-Bellefonte) Airport is approximately 5 miles from campus. Several major airlines fly in and out of this airport, along with private planes. Limousine or taxi service is available for all flights. Airline connections to University Park are available from the Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and Harrisburg airports. There is also a bus station right in town serviced by both Fullington Trailways and Greyhound.
- Driving Instructions -
The campus of the Pennsylvania State University is easily accessible via car. From Interstate 80, take exit 161 (Bellefonte) and follow 220 South until you see signs for Penn State and follow them to Rt. 322 to Rt. 26 which runs along the southern end of campus. Route 322 is another common way people choose to use when traveling via car to Penn State. In this case, simply follow Rt. 322 until you see signs for Rt. 26 (College Ave) and exit there. This will again lead you directly into town. We recommend people visit www.mapquest.com and simply type in your starting address and State College, PA for the final destination.
- Local Accommodations -
There are many local hotels for you to stay at. On campus is the Nittany Lion Inn, which is operated by Penn State Hospitality Services and used as a training tool for those in the School of Hotel and Restaurant Management.
