The first council weekend was a huge success. The members of the Northeast Caucus brought together tremendous ideas. Much of the conversation throughout the break out was ideas of how the Caucus can become closer than ever before. Plans were made to go to the Haunted Forest at the Wilkes-Barre Campus, but due to weather conditions this Caucus activity was cancelled. Also, Campus visits were discussed and now have tentative dates.
Some of Central Staff including the Northeast Caucus director had gone to visit the Wilkes-Barre campus on October 22nd. The visit was intended to support the Wilkes-Barre Campus' THON at their Haunted Forest, which was Spooky and Scary, yet a lot of fun. They had a tour of the campus by the Wilkes-Barre  Student Government Association's  (SGA) President late in the night time hours. This was an eventful and informational visit in that Staff learned a lot about the member's of SGA and even the campus that is moving forward every day.
Other topics of conversation at the table during the Caucus breakout were ideas of how to improve student involvement on each of the campuses. Hazleton had brought upon many ideas from Facebook Groups to Advertisements. Many of their ideas were helpful to the Worthington Scranton and Wilkes-Barre commuter campuses. Each of the campuses had brought upon their ideas of how to help and make their groups on campuses much larger, eventful, and strong.
The next council weekend there will be talk of finalizing campus visit dates along with discussing legislation. Other topics such as re-caps of the first council and the committee breakouts will be talked about to have the campuses leave with a better understanding of the ways that council can improve each and every SGA at the commonwealth campuses.
