About AACF

Asian American Christian Fellowship is affiliated with the EPIC movement (the Asian American ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ).

Our vision and heart is to share the love of Jesus Christ with every Asian American student at Penn State, by seeking to:

WIN – Sharing the love of Jesus so that students can know Him and accept Him as their Lord and Savior.

BUILD – To grow in our relationship with God through His Word and the fellowship, encouragement, and accountability of small groups and friendships.

SEND – Equipping students to win, build and send others in order to help fulfill the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:37-39) and the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20)

You can be involved

TURNING POINT: Every Friday at 7pm, 112 Kern Building, we have our large group fellowship meetings, which we call Turning Point. It’s a great time to get to know others and get to know more about what we believe in a friendly environment. Every week will be different -filled with icebreakers, praise, snacks, special speakers, and more! We hope to provide an easy-going place where you feel comfortable to come and fellowship with us. Contact Cynthia for more information.

SMALL GROUPS: Discipleship small groups meet once a week to study and explore the Bible. It is also a great way for you to get more personal with 4-6 others. You can grow through relating with one another and sharing with each other experiences and lessons learned. If you would like more information or are interested in joining a group, contact John Mackin for men’s groups or Sandy Mackin for women’s groups.

SOCIALS: We try to organize many different activities throughout the year. Some of our events include hiking Mount Nittany, bowling, picnics, game-nights, potluck dinners, and many more. If you have any great ideas for socials or would like to help out, contact Sharon.

FALL AND SPRING RETREATS: Once a semester we get to get away as a group to some cozy place where we can focus more on getting to know God and each other. We have great speakers, a special praise band, games, food, and lots of sharing time. Our Fall Retreat will be the weekend of October 2-4, 2009 at Camp Mount Luther.
