Prospective college students who have any type of learning disability are invited to a free program hosted by Penn State Shenango from 10 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, February 15, in Forker Laboratory Forum on Shenango Avenue in downtown Sharon, Pa. Welcome to the PSU Shenango Campus Student Government Association!
The SGA consists of representatives elected from the Penn State Shenango student body. Freshman, sophmore, and representatives at large represent the academic classes. These representatives maintain a direct link with students and campus faculty and administrators. The SGA elected officials include President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Thon Director, Club Liaison, and Public Relations.
The name of this organization shall be the Student Government Association of the Pennsylvania State University Shenango Campus, henceforth referred to as the SGA.
The SGA shall serve as the sole legislative student body in all matters pertinent to the welfare and best interest of the students of the Penn State Shenango Campus.
The SGA shall not support any legislation which conflicts with the rules and regulations established by the University.
The SGA shall act as an advisory and consultative body to all chartered student organizations and clubs on matters such as fund disbursement, PSU rules and regulations enforcement, the management of all financial transactions through the SGA treasury.
The SGA shall provide and coordinate appropriate services for the students and shall sponsor activities or observance which encourage and permit the fullest expression of the student opinion on contemporary, social, economic, political, and educational questions and issues.
The SGA shall serve as a forum for the exchange of ideas among members of the student body.
