About Us

Thank you for your interest in finding out more about your student area government! This particular part of ARHS handles the "free" movies that play at the HUB auditorium each weekend. The movies are sponsored by your student activity fees through ARHS and UPAC. You need a PSU ID or be a guest of someone at Penn State. It is one guest per ID. Also, we don't allow food or drinks in the auditorium--even if the food or drink came from the food stand at HUB LateNight .

Fun thing we're willing to do for you: BIRTHDAY SHOUT-OUTS! If you have a friend you'd like us to give a shout-out to, send us an email (scroll down to Contact Us). Include your name (and anyone else in your group of friends who want to be included in the announcement), the birthday celebrant's name, how old they are now (if you want), and WHAT DAY & SHOW TIME you will all attend! Send these by Wednesday please.

The Process

ARHS Cinemas selects pre-home released movies. This means that the movies we show at the HUB have finished circulating in movie theaters yet retain a freshness since they have not been released for home-video.

Projectionists. We have about 10 projectionists, all of whom are upstanding members of ARHS. If you are interested in becoming a projectionist, get started by joining your area residence hall association!
